Our Community - Holiday Shores

Holiday Shores Volunteer Fire Department is located at 93 Holiday Dam Road within the unincorporated private community of Holiday Shores. Holiday Shores is approximately 6 miles north of Edwardsville, Illinois and is served by the Edwardsville School District. The focal point of the community is Holiday Lake – a 420-acre lake serving both fishermen and recreational boaters. Circling the lake are three swimming beaches, with Main Beach offering lifeguard protection during the summer months.

A gathering place for Holiday Shores residents is its Clubhouse where community members can dine at the Beacon Inn or attend an event in the spacious multi-purpose room. The largest of the community’s several playgrounds is also located by the Clubhouse and Main Beach. Holiday Shores offers its members a taste of rural life while only being 35 minutes from the Gateway Arch and other St. Louis area attractions
